Feeling challenged about long wait times to see new consultations, and declining referrals? Improve timely access to endocrine care through provider to provider eConsultations. Enhance your practice management skills and your CanMEDS competencies by participating in this QI workshop.

Workshop Objectives

Upon completion of this workshop, learners will be able to:

  • Describe strategies and requirements for the integration of high-quality provider to provider eConsultations within routine triaging workflows.
  • Determine clinical scenarios most readily suitable to eConsultations in practice.
  • Identify how eConsultation training can be incorporated into Endocrinology training programs.

This workshop is complimentary for CSEM members; $100 for non-members. Renew now or join today! No shows will be invoiced $50.  Cancellations must be communicated in writing before November 1st. 

Note: You must register for the 2024 Diabetes Canada/CSEM Professional Conference to participate in the workshop. Advance registration for the workshop is also required.

This is an accredited Section 3 QI learning activity designed to help physicians shorten their wait times for new consultations and improve timely access to endocrine care for patients through provider to provider e-consultations. Participants can claim 2.0 hrs of Section 3 MOC credits.
